Cobblestone Inn & Suites Fort Madison

Nice hotel in Fort Mason. Traveling through the area we stopped at this hotel in passing and decided to stay overnight in Fort Mason to see the town. i compared the rate quoted by the front desm and was able to save using Booking.com. Room was comfortable. We thought the mattress was comfortable too but a bit high for us (shorter folks). Typical breakfast with good variety. You make them waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuit, bagels, english muffins, bread to toast, gravy, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, juices, coffee, tea fruit, likely missed a few things but you get the idea. One thing that was unusual was sausage stuffed waffles in the fridge. Kitchen attendant was helpful and friendly as were all of the staff we encountered.

We stayed in the family suite and it was so nice and comfortable. The room was very clean. Our kids loved it. The breakfast had a good variety of choices and was tasty. The shower water pressure and volume was one of the best I've experienced in a hotel. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. There was a tiny concession area in the lobby where you could buy snacks, small entree meals, drinks, and other necessities like Tylenol or ibuprofen. We also enjoyed exploring a little bit of Fort Madison and thought it was a cool old town with interesting history. We loved our experience and would absolutely recommend this hotel to other families.

The rooms were very clean, spatious and comfortable. We took advantage of the complimentary breakfast which was fine and met our expectations. The staff was friendly and took care of us quickly at check-in and checkout.

Staff was smart, efficient and very friendly. The entire hotel and the rooms were very clean and smelled pleasant. Linens were nice quality and beds had many pillows choices. Warm cookies in the lobby was a surprise and delight!

The room was clean and as expected. We needed a handicapped room so we could have a walk-in shower for my mother in law and they were very obliging. They provided a roll away bed as they didn't have a room with double beds available as we requested when booking our stay.
